The Opportunity – Interior Designer

We are seeking a talented and creative team member for the Interior Designer position!
As an Interior Designer, you will be expected to plan, design and coordinate the creation and/or renovation of spaces. Our goal is to create spaces that inspire! You will interact and collaborate with a variety of personalities including team members, clients, consultants, tradespeople, and vendors.

•Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or current Graduate student
•1-3 years experience working in the Interior Design industry with largely commercial experience
•Familiarity with typical architectural practices, processes and systems

We are seeking talented and creative team members for Intermediate and Senior Architectural Designer positions.

You will be expected to define and develop the design intent with Project Managers and Project Architects during Conceptual Design and Design Development on a variety of project types including, but not limited to, Hospitality (Country Clubs & Hotels), Restaurants, Mixed Use, and Commercial. You will be expected to “think ideas out of your brain and onto paper” in a way that is easy to understand while also being representative of the client’s vision and requirements.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture

• 5-7 years’ experience hand sketching

• Experience in Creative Conceptual Design, Design Development, and Floor Planning

Job Requirements

• Draft plans/mark-ups for the purpose of creating construction documents.

• Review all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting for review.

• Revise plans according to client, manager, or reviewer comments.

• Assist in organizing and maintaining Revit or BIM-related files for the project.

• Takes responsibility for submitting plans on time per defined deadline.

• Ability to adhere to office Revit and BIM standards and practices.

• Perform non-routine and complex assignments from verbal instructions under minimum supervision.

Spina O'Rourke + Partners is seeking talented team members for Senior Project Manager positions!

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be expected to lead a Production Team beginning at the creation of a Conceptual Design package, revising the Design based on client feedback, and then refining the Design through the Design Development phase which will eventually end with the creation of a thorough and complete set of Construction Documents. Lastly, you will assist the General Contractor during the Construction Administration phase to help ensure that the Project is completed on-time and within its budget.

To be considered for this position, you will be required to meet the following minimum requirements:

• Licensed Architect

• 15 years’ Experience in a Production Environment

• Strong Experience with Architectural Project Management Concepts and Workflows

• Comprehensive Knowledge of typical Structural and MEP Systems

• Comprehensive Knowledge of Building Codes and the Permitting Process

• Strong Team Oriented skills to move projects along their intended workflow

• Mentor and Praise, hold others accountable for the established goals of each project

As an Architectural BIM Manager, you will be expected to develop and maintain the Revit infrastructure within the firm. This includes developing and maintaining Revit standards, Templates, and Libraries as well as creating BIM Execution Plans for Project Teams.

Additional Duties may also include helping create complex Revit models for design presentations, developing Construction Documents, and providing Quality Control for Revit models and drawing sets.
